For those who prefer to explore, the resort is a quick drive to downtown, with recommended spots like the Sage Pub nearby, which provided delicious food at reasonable prices. While the in-house restaurant is on the pricier side, having laundry facilities and grocery shopping services is a bonus for longer stays. The 24-hour reception ensures you feel secure and attended to throughout your time there. I appreciated the complimentary welcome drink and access to a range of activities like hiking and cycling. Walnut Beach Resort strikes a balance between luxury and value. It may be worth considering for those looking to indulge without overspending, especially as a base for exploring local offerings or simply relaxing by the beach.
